Kwaku Asante, a London-based artist, has a deep, rich, sultry, and sensuous tone that calms you and excites your mind all at the same time. According to New Wave Magazine, Asante says he refuses to be locked down into a singular genre. His music has influences from Rock, Indie, Blues, and Jazz, and he pulls in a bit from each realm of music.

“I've learned to embrace all sides to me, I want people to know that one is not exclusive to the other and they can all exist within another.”

Asante explores the idea of transforming an outdated narrative of what black men should be, hyper-masculinity, and what masculinity should look like. One thing we do know is, Asante has a vibe that is undeniably irresistible. Get into singer, songwriter, Kwaku Asante.

Swindle explores love, grief and race in his new album

London producer, Swindle has a hot new album called A New World. This album is a fusion of rhythmic beats and raps, instrumental staccato riffs and feel good grooves that will move you. Featuring artists such as Loyle Carner, Kojey Radical, JNR Williams, Daley, Ghetts and many more.

According to swindleuk.bancamp.com, THE NEW WORLD is Swindle’s first solo release since his 2019 critically acclaimed album No More Normal, which was praised widely by the likes Loud & Quiet, The Wire, Q and CLASH. THE NEW WORLD has had early nods from Highsnobiety, The Line of Best Fit, The Independent, Annie Mac, DJ Target and more. The album will explore themes such as love, grief, fatherhood, life, race in Britain, aspirations for their future selves and other personified ruminations experienced by these artists during Lockdown #1. Described by Swindle and all those involved as a healing process written in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd and the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, this project brought together an incredible community of artists who found the most simplistic emotion of joy together in collaboration - unapologetically ushering in introspection, community and liberation into the ether.
